When the owner of Plan Check restaurants came to us with an idea for a new fast-casual, chicken-centric concept, we couldn’t wait to help bring this tasty operation to light. We took inspiration from the rotisserie-style menu that offered upscale yet casual dining, and employed modern farmhouse elements with some industrial edge. It’s a delicate balance offering a bright and fresh space while holding onto elements of intrigue, with bold tongue-in-cheek moments.

We brought in a communal feel with stadium seating, making it easy for diners to sit for a quick bite, but implemented pendant lights over tables for a comfortable invitation to stay a while. We started with an urban agriculture language, and translated that to a softer, more refined look with shades of green as our hero color. This tied in the landscape elements of the space, as well as an interior olive tree, while artful displays of leafy imagery stepped in tune with the indoor/outdoor vibe.
